M.A.C Dupe?

Yes! By accident I found an amazing dupe for M.A.C’s famous paint pot in “soft ochre” that every beauty guru swears by it. 

I was looking for a good concealer at a makeup store that could cover the darkness on the sides of my nose right beside my eyes. I had researched and found that the Catrice Liquid Camouflage was a good affordable option. So, I picked it up and looked at the other products that were displayed; that’s when I found this incredible dupe: The Catrice Camouflage Cream. 

This cream concealer comes in a little pot (3g.) and its aim is to colour-correct your face, therefore it comes in several shades: 

• Yellow: to cover shadows that you don’t want to have. 
• Green: to cover redness. 
• Peach: it has a wake-up effect, in other words, you can use it under your eyes to have a bright and awake look. 
• Skin tone: there are three shades (ivory, light beige and rosy sand) that you can use to cover blemishes or imperfections. 

The one that is an exact dupe to the M.A.C paint pot is the ivory one. It has full coverage; I don’t find it to heavy and you can use it in different ways. 

When I bought this cream, I didn’t own a paint pot, but I got curious so I finished buying one to test them and see if there was a big difference. Well, there is not. Most make-up artists use this to prime lids before going in with eye shadows, it allows them to go on smoothly, without creasing and with a bright even base that helps the shadows look more vibrant and opaque.  

When I finally tried them on my lids, I couldn’t believe it, there was no difference at all! Both of them have the same consistency and apply on really good. They keep your eye shadow perfect all day without creases and fallout. The only drawbacks I can mention are, 1st this wouldn’t work on people with oily lids and 2nd, there is not a wide range of colours to match your skin. 

That’s it. If you are looking for a good primer with coverage or you were dying to try the paint pots but you couldn’t afford it, now you know about this one! I will leave below Catrice’ page and the value of both products.

¿Producto igual a uno marca M.A.C?

¡Sí! Por accidente encontré un producto igual al famoso “paint pot” en el color “soft ochre” de M.A.C que todas y todos los maquilladores aman.

Todo sucedió cuando un día estaba buscando un buen corrector que pudiera cubrir la decoloración que tengo a los lados de mi nariz, junto a los ojos. Había buscado en internet alguna opción económica y encontré el corrector de Catrice “Liquid Camouflage”. Decidi comprarlo, pero antes de ir a pagar, vi los otros productos que ofrece esta marca y ahí fue cuando encontré este maravilloso producto: The Catrice Camouflage Cream.

Este es un corrector en crema que viene en un recipiente  (3g.); y su función es corregir algunas descoloraciones de la piel, es por esto que viene en diferentes colores:

•       Amarillo: para cubrir las sombras o manchas del rostro.
•       Verde: para cubrir áreas más rojas de la piel.
•        Durazno: para cubrir ojeras y dar un mejor aspecto a la piel alrededor de los ojos.
•        Piel: viene en tres tonalidades que se pueden usar para cubrir imperfecciones.

El color que es casi igual al paint pot de M.A.C, es el color “ivory”, tienen las mismas características: cubren perfectamente, no son pesados (es decir, de textura incomoda) y tienen muchas funciones.

Cuando compré el corrector Camouflage Cream, no tenía un paint pot, pero sentí tanta curiosidad que decidí comprarlo y comparar los dos productos. La manera que los compare fue usándolos como base para mi sobra de ojos, lo que permite que estas se difuminen mejor y que los colores se noten más. El resultado fue impresionante, ambos hacen el trabajo de igual manera.

Los dos productos permiten tener un look perfecto todo el día sin tener “fall out” (cuando la sombra de ojos cae sobre el rostro ya que no está fuertemente adherida al parpado). Lo único negativo que podría mencionar es que 1ro, este tipo de corrector no sería el más adecuado para personas con piel grasa y 2do, no hay una variedad de tonos de color de piel (solo hay 3 tonos).

Si estás buscando una buena base para poner antes de tu sombra de ojos o te mueres por probar el famoso M.A.C Paint pot pero el precio está fuera de tu alcance, ahora sabes del corrector multifuncional Catrice Camouflage Cream.
